QA/QC Engineer

Description

• Implement the project‑specific Quality Management Plan per company policies and industry standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, and processes.
• Document and report non‑conformities, coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare quality assurance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Communicate quality issues to project teams and facilitate prompt resolution.
• Deliver training and toolbox talks on quality control procedures.
• Stay current with applicable codes, standards, and best practices for tunnel construction.
• Participate in project planning meetings, providing quality‑related input.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in quality assurance/quality control for construction.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and testing field samples and monitoring concrete pours.
• Ability to produce reports documenting test results and project activities.
• Experience inspecting concrete reinforcement, steel, and formwork.
• Certification such as CQA or CQE (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation tools.

Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $135,000 depending on experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future, and no staffing agency candidates will be considered.
