Ensure inspections are completed throughout all construction phases, to ensure buildings meet clients’ specifications and the BC Building Code
Implement QC checks for all finishing work
Assist Project Manager with cost tracking for non contract work
Establish, maintain, and control quality control standards on site
Enforce Onni’s Health and Safety Standards
Create, track, and monitor look-ahead schedules.
Coordinate with trade contractors and ensure project schedule progresses accordingly
Review drawings in order to foresee problems and minimize the schedule & financial impacts
Identify and escalate potential issues to the Construction Manager in a timely manner
Effectively manage assistants, forepersons, detailers, and labourers
Ensure all changes are properly documented and implemented
Maintain a daily construction journal
Provide schedule updates to the Construction Manager on a regular basis
Recommend corrective actions, when necessary, to maintain project schedule and quality
Ensure all staff and contractors maintain a safe working environment according to company policies
Coordinate all activity between trades and suppliers
Document the construction process and keep all parties informed on important issues.

Demonstrated ability to problem solve and proactively solve issues , juggle numerous and diverse activities, organizing and prioritizing appropriately to meet demands and expectations
Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience
Proven performance in leadership and managing both people and construction sites
Successful completion of the WorkSafeBC “Supervising for Safety” online training course within probationary period
Demonstrated effective communication and team building skills
