Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil and/or mining construction with oversight of trucking activities preferred.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Five or more years in a supervisory role (Superintendent, General Foreman, Foreman).
Valid Driver’s License required.
Strong knowledge of mass earthwork, mine infrastructure construction, heavy equipment operations, material hauling and civil construction methods.
Construction / Mining Site Environment: Requires the ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, climb, and lift or carry materials. Exposure to high noise levels, dust, vibration, and outdoor elements should be expected.
Understanding cost management, production tracking, planning, and scheduling.
Travel: Required—primary assignments within Utah.
Positive attitude with strong leadership and motivational skills.
Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA, Federal, State and Local laws with regards to driver and truck safety compliance.
Experience leading and managing crews of 20 or more employees and subcontractors.
Effective time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
