Develop and implement an effective preventive maintenance program that reduces down time, reduces maintenance costs and results in lowest cost of service possible.
Arrange and complete annual airspace surveys at each location.
Ensure that a purchase order system is used for all purchases and that clear guidelines are established for purchasing practices.
Operate standard office equipment (i.e., personal computer, facsimile, copy machine, etc.).
Develop, implement and maintain on-going cost control program that monitors buying and renting practices of all supplies and services.
Occasionally work in high precarious places.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and acquisitions.
Adhere to all wage and hour laws and compensate personnel for services rendered in accordance with established guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree from four (4) year college or university and/or have a demonstrated record of serving in an operational environment requiring analytical and general management skills.
Or, equivalent combination of required education and experience.
Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
Possess ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instruction and procedure manuals, construction & permit drawings, and general correspondence.
Three (3) or more years experience in the waste or landfill industry,
Familiarity with non-hazardous waste regulations at every operation.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, climb, balance, and smell.
Noise level is usually moderate.
Be familiar with operation of dump truck, bull dozer, compactor, track hoe, loader and backhoe.
Work in indoor office environment 50% - 70% of the time.
Working knowledge of the equipment required to operate a landfill.
Possess excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
