The I&C Embedded Software Engineer works within the Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineering team of GE Vernova Hitachi (GVH). This role demands technical problem solving, strong software skills, and effective communication across GVH business functions.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering and have at least ten years of embedded software development experience. This includes seven years of advanced C programming, extensive experience with coding conventions, unit and integration testing, and familiarity with tools such as GitLab, Jira, LDRA, Arm Development Studio, Visual Studio, and GDB.
The preferred work location is GVH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC, though highly qualified U.S.-based remote candidates will be considered if they can be onsite one to two weeks per month or travel for urgent issues.
