• Manage communications to deliver and resolve sensitive and confidential client insurance matters and information with
• Collaborate with Director, Insurance Project Risk and internal resources to strategize and present insurance solutions for
• Review, evaluate, and amend insurance contract language to align client’s insurance protocols.
• Manage each line of commercial insurance relevant to clients including but not limited to, Commercial General, Liability,
• Advise client leadership and participate in contract reviews on insurance programs to enhance and implement coverage and
• Apply consultative approach to manage client insurance programs and oversee project specific placement, management of
• Contribute to and develop insurance policies and procedures for contracts related to risk management.
• In collaboration with TSIB Project Risk team, analyze, review, and approve standard contract insurance placement; present
• Develop new and/or leverage existing training materials to provide thorough knowledge of relevant insurance information to
• In partnership with client, review, evaluate and draft responses of insurance sections of Request for Proposal/Quotes (RFPs,
• Participate in industry events, represent company, and influence standards within industry.
• Participate in hiring process, onboard and deliver timely performance feedback for direct reports, execute/contribute to
• Mentor and manage team and oversee respective tasks and deliverables.
• Serve as senior advisor and trusted subject matter expert to clients for insurance matters in compliance with owners’
• Demonstrate consistent lean leadership; evaluate processes for continuous improvement opportunities to increase
• Leverage historical data from prior projects to identify risk factors and create impact analysis summaries to assist client with
• Collaborate with clients’ business development teams to maximize insurance placements for optimal coverage.

Requirements

• Professional business writing skills, including drafting language for contractual insurance reviews
• Possess or willing to attain and maintain state insurance consultancy license such as Insurance Advisor License, Insurance
• Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
• Process critical thinking skills with sound judgement decision-making
• Advanced project management skills and capable of managing concurrent complex projects and tasks, and client requests,
• Strong organizational management skills, capable of directing, managing, and developing remote teams
• Advanced technical knowledge of contracts, commercial insurance policies, and risk management principles
• Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and insurance-based risk management information
• Minimum of 10 years of insurance or business-related experience required with Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree
• Ability to effectively address and discuss confidential information and explain complex insurance concepts to others with
• Thorough understanding of State and local jurisdiction insurance and claims regulations
• Thorough comprehension of commercial insurance and coverages as applicable to construction and construction related
