The Role

Tasks

-Oversee all divisional accounting, reporting, and financial operations in compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards (IFRS) -Manage divisional working capital, including accounts receivable and accounts payable -Ensure alignment and collaboration with the corporate finance and accounting teams. -Develop and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. -Provide detailed variance analysis and insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends. -Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. -Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the division. -Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. -Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. -Lead implementation of new accounting standards or corporate initiatives within the division. -Supervise, coach, and develop divisional finance staff. -Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. -Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

What You Bring

-Proven ability to manage teams and build cross-functional relationships. -7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior financial leadership role. -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. -Experience in a multi-entity or divisional organization preferred. -Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial systems -CPA designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) required.
