Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Gas Transmission & Storage, this leader will drive the identification, development and commercialisation of gas transmission and storage projects, supporting strategic growth across Queensland and the NT and delivering investment‑ready opportunities through strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement.
The role involves steering concept development, feasibility assessments, market analysis and the preparation of investment cases, while guiding cross‑functional matrix teams through the entire project lifecycle from initial idea through to post‑commissioning support.
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, finance, law or a related discipline and possess extensive experience in the Australian gas transmission sector, including securing permits and negotiating commercial and design agreements. A self‑starting attitude, high‑level influencing skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
