You’ll work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to lead the design, delivery, and inspection of marine and waterfront structures. You’ll guide junior engineers, ensure technical excellence, and contribute to the growth of our marine division.
Manage all work under Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
Represent and promote ByrneLooby in a professional manner and develop effective working relationships with clients and potential clients

✔ Familiarity with marine environmental issues and coastal regulations
✔ Chartered or near-chartered status with ICE (or equivalent)
Effective communicator with strong client-facing and report-writing skills
Chartered or near chartered with the ICE or equivalent.
Proficient in relevant software and engineering tools
Technical expertise in design and inspection of marine structures
Sound working knowledge of BS 6349, Eurocodes and related marine guidance.
✔ MSc in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
✔ 5–8 years of industry experience in marine, port, or coastal structural engineering
Sound knowledge of BS 6349, Eurocodes, and marine design standards
Has proven technical knowledge of specific subject areas and proven ability to use relevant software
Can communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and outside agencies and build effective working relationships and willingness to exceed client expectations
Confident in presenting and managing stakeholder relationships
