Service Professionals are responsible for hands‑on customer care: they troubleshoot, service, inspect, install, and repair industrial equipment of all sizes, maintain both paper and digital work orders, and regularly drive a company vehicle to customer sites while upholding safety and OSHA compliance.
Miner offers four career levels for Service Professionals. Apprentices (Level I) learn the basics; Level II professionals have at least one year of relevant experience and basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge; Level III seniors bring four years of experience and advanced troubleshooting skills; and Level IV experts have eight or more years, leadership abilities, and deep expertise in dock‑leveler and door repairs. Candidates can apply at any level that matches their skills.
Candidates should have 2‑4 years of relevant experience, the ability to repair doors, loading docks and dock‑levelers, and a willingness to learn welding, steel fabrication, and electrical work. Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is a plus. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently for extended periods on the road.
Additional requirements include a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license for the state of employment, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Technical school training and OEM certifications are desired but not mandatory.
