  • Collaborate with planners and schedulers to ensure cost and schedule data are fully integrated.
  • Plan, Manage and Review projects
  • Build strong working relationships with project team members, clients, and external contractors to support effective information flow and data validation.
  • Maintain and update cost control registers, ensuring accurate tracking of budgets and expenditures.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across client tools such as MS Project Online, InEight, Primavera P6, Excel, and internal systems.
  • Lead cost management activities across infrastructure projects, supporting the client’s Project Controls Manager.
  • Produce monthly cost reports and insights for client stakeholders
  • Deliver integrated cost control within a multidisciplinary team, working alongside schedule and risk functions.
  • Uphold high standards of data quality, traceability, and reporting integrity.
  • Monitor and track actual costs, commitments, accruals, and variations across multiple work packages.
  • Maintain a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to help deliver accurate and timely project performance insights.
  • Maintain cost models, update financial data, and prepare monthly forecasts and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare and coordinate cost reports, including data entry, reconciliation, validation, and variance analysis.
  • Provide cost-focused support as part of embedded Project Controls teams on client projects.

  • Professional memberships
  • Certified as a Project Management Professional (CPMP) by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) or equivalent, or capable of achieving certification within 12 months.
  • Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work across cost, schedule, and risk functions with guidance from discipline leads.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely in reports, registers, and stakeholder updates, both in writing and verbally.
  • Prior experience in infrastructure capital works or government reporting environments (highly regarded).
  • Tertiary education in Project Management related discipline is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Minimum of three years project management experience or 5 years cost control experience.
