The Assembly Technician role focuses on safely building JLG and Jerr‑Dan products by following detailed instructions from supervisors and group leaders. Workers use a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to assemble components, install accessories, and ensure each unit meets strict quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Candidates must be willing to work overtime—including evenings, weekends and holidays—to meet production demands, and must demonstrate regular, reliable on‑site attendance. Preferred applicants have at least six months of manufacturing or general‑labor experience and can handle lifting, standing, and repetitive motions in a noisy, dusty environment while wearing required PPE.
