Interaction with clients and public agencies
Evaluate floodplain impacts and prepare No-Rise certifications or flood studies as required.
Work closely with our Transportation Design team on roadway/highway, municipal street, pedestrian projects
Provide flood mitigation alternative design solutions
Perform hydrologic modeling to estimate stormwater runoff
Conduct hydraulic analysis of bridges, culverts, channels, and storm drain systems using HEC-RAS or equivalent models
Use knowledge of NCDOT design standards and practices to produce NCDOT compatible designs.
