Manage moderate complexity and associated risks and provide guidance to others on product and global regulatory compliance (for example complexity such as multiple business unit segments, countries, regulations, number/diversity of product lines, end uses, customer complexity)
Prepare responses to product stewardship customer requests, both internal and external, with a customer-centric mindset.
Partner with multiple internal teams to support a culture of compliance and resolve potential non-compliance issues.
Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes within the Product Stewardship function and Product Stewardship related activities globally, regionally and within the businesses.
Train associates at all levels on domestic and international chemical control regulations and internal procedures.
Provide support related to various US TSCA and Canada compliance programs such as import certifications, export notifications, data collection for Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) submissions, and product compliance reviews.
Assist in developing and providing function specific product stewardship training and knowledge for applicable personnel.
Develop solutions and sustainable processes to a variety of moderately complex problems of moderate scope.
Prepare regulatory compliance information to be used in communications with a wide variety of PPG functions including marketing, technical, legal, purchasing, product management, supply chain, customer service, technical service, and IT.

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, EHS field or related science.
Working knowledge of key business metrics, key drivers, business vision, and manufacturing processes/challenges as applicable.
Good working knowledge of product regulatory requirements both for domestic as well as international destinations a plus. Previous experience acting as a technical expert and providing direction to less experienced employees.
5 or more years of related experience.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in office required. Work location may be Monroeville, PA or Sylmar, CA.
