Summary: you will be responsible for a variety of technical and coordination tasks, from managing site activities to maintaining accurate documentation. Acting as a key link between stakeholders, you will help drive communication, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Promote a strong safety culture through observation cards and proactive hazard identification.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with project standards.
Review drawings, identify missing resources, and support site setup
Implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), contribute to short-term planning, and track project progress.
Maintain daily logs, site photos, and effective communication with all project teams.
Ensure quality control by following QA/QC procedures and project specifications.
Develop risk assessments, enforce safety protocols (e.g., COSHH), and report any site changes. Oversee material testing, report non-conformances, and ensure high-quality execution.
Manage material deliveries, maintain work records, and support additional site activities.

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Site Engineer in tunnel, railway, metro, highways, heavy civil construction or similar projects, with a at least 2 years of experience in tunnel/railway/metro projects in Canada. Experience in excavation, structures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams. Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to meet deadlines and project goals.
Proficiency in construction software for project management and reporting.-
Familiarity with Canadian construction codes, regulations, and best practices.
Dedication to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, promoting a safe workplace.
