Overview
Perform accurate construction surveying for projects across Western Canada

Tasks
-Troubleshoot and resolve any surveying-related issues that arise during the course of a project. -Stay up-to-date with the latest surveying technologies, methods, and industry best practices. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure that survey data is accurately interpreted and implemented. -Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, including field notes, sketches, maps, and reports. -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Assist in the preparation of as-built surveys and documentation to ensure that project deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements. -Conduct field surveys for various construction projects, including topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys. -Operate and maintain surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels, ensuring that all instruments are calibrated and in good working condition. -Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that surveying activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Perform accurate calculations and data collection for project layouts, including staking for grading, utilities, and structural elements.

What You Bring
-Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in using surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS systems, and levels. -Regular, reliable attendance -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required. -Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and blueprints. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all surveying tasks. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
