Assist the Director of Occupational Health Hygiene and Wellbeing in development and management of all occupational health & hygiene contracts for the department
Present findings in a clear and concise manner from detailed studies to Senior Executive/Management to influence change and maintain Scottish Power’s lead in this field
Provide professional leadership and direction to each Business in relation to the identification, management and prevention of industrial health risks that could cause reputational damage to ScottishPower
Lead engagement on behalf of ScottishPower with key industry stakeholders, HSE, ENA, G+, SafetyOn and the Energy Institute on strategic industry risks and be able to influence the direction towards better industrial health provision across the energy sector
Develop a wide range of professional working relationships, including a range of industry bodies
Establish and lead the delivery of the Strategic Operating Plan that delivers to each Business operational compliance with health-based legislation, including the Preventative Action Plan
Establish links with the relevant business department to ensure all staff are provided with suitable information, instruction and training pertinent to their health risks

As there is adhoc travel required with this role, the successful candidate will have a UK Driving License
Degree educated, Life Science or Engineering
Chartered Member of BOHS, holding Diploma in Occupational Hygiene
Notable experience in management of policy
Chartered member of BOHS (Diploma Level)
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence senior management to implement change
NEBOSH Certificate & IOSH membership
