What you would be doing

Ensure quality standards for both vehicle builds and incoming materials, holding teams accountable for non-conformance
Foster continuous improvement across functions by promoting problem-solving, effective communication, and visible results
Develop and cross-train your team, ensuring skills growth and readiness to meet future challenges
Conduct Customer Quality Audits (CQA), provide feedback on scores, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Analyze, monitor, and communicate quality performance through defined KPIs and weekly status reports
Lead, coach, and support the inspection and supplier quality assurance (SQA) teams to achieve quality and customer satisfaction goals
Conduct line inspections at any stage of the build when required
Oversee compliance with quality policies, processes, and regulatory requirements in partnership with the Head of Quality
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure product conformance and adherence to build plans
Act as escalation point for major and critical quality concerns within the plant

Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality standards

Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when required
3+ years of manufacturing experience in a quality-focused role
Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment
Experience with IATF 16949 standards and/or vehicle manufacturing preferred
Strong planning, organizational, and conflict resolution abilities
Experience in auditing systems, processes, and products
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and engage small teams
