- Ensure quality standards for both vehicle builds and incoming materials, holding teams accountable for non-conformance
- Foster continuous improvement across functions by promoting problem-solving, effective communication, and visible results
- Develop and cross-train your team, ensuring skills growth and readiness to meet future challenges
- Conduct Customer Quality Audits (CQA), provide feedback on scores, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Analyze, monitor, and communicate quality performance through defined KPIs and weekly status reports
- Lead, coach, and support the inspection and supplier quality assurance (SQA) teams to achieve quality and customer satisfaction goals
- Conduct line inspections at any stage of the build when required
- Oversee compliance with quality policies, processes, and regulatory requirements in partnership with the Head of Quality
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure product conformance and adherence to build plans
- Act as escalation point for major and critical quality concerns within the plant

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across levels and functions
- Experience with problem-solving methods (root cause analysis, 8D)
- Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality standards
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and monitor quality trends
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when required
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a quality-focused role
- Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment
- Experience with IATF 16949 standards and/or vehicle manufacturing preferred
- Strong planning, organizational, and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in auditing systems, processes, and products
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and engage small teams
