Attend contractor ‘Pre-Start’ meeting when the work activity is deemed higher risk, as appropriate.
Contribute to the development of Management / statistical reports in a timely manner and, where required, present to the relevant Board.

Undertake SSER inspections on at least a monthly basis or as the BU demands, recording findings, advising management as appropriate and conducting follow up visits or audits within designated timescales.
Oversee the collation of working hours / statistics each month and record on to ActiveSHEQ as required.
Collaborate on planning matters with design, engineering and delivery teams on all HS&E matters which may affect the project.
Assist the pre-qualification process of sub-contractors applicable to their project or business scope where necessary via company on-boarding system.
Carry out and / or support business units in 45001 / 14001 internal and external audits. Support the BU with the collation of corrective action plans as appropriate and subsequent systems development and enhancement activities.
Monitor site compliance with statutory HS&E responsibilities and the business management system regarding HS&E and client expectations.
The Regional Advisor will support all Specialist Services Business Units (Digital Infrastructure, Asset Intelligence, Oak Specialist Services, Facilities Management), supporting the relevant Lead Advisors and their Business Units with activities extending to systems/process development as well as influencing and managing in the operational field with site teams. The Regional Advisor will therefore be expected to have and continually develop a broad range of competencies with an agile disposition to ensure the division is fully supported.
Assist the operational teams during incident investigations to identify root causes and recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
Deliver HS&E related training.
Manage and deliver the HS&E aspect of the business unit induction process.
Escalate and report any HS&E concerns to the BU Managing Director and respective Head of HS&E.
Attend any project Pre-Construction (Tender and bid) meetings to support reducing HS&E risk, as appropriate
Provide technical and specialist guidance to line and site management in the implementation of HS&E programmes and initiatives.
Monitor and manage incident reports within the designated timescale and manage close out on the Galliford Try ActiveSHEQ system.
