Registered Funds Associate (1st - 5th Year)

• Draft and review disclosure documents, fund registration statements, shareholder reports, and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across investment management, securities, and tax practices to deliver integrated solutions.
• Advise registered funds, investment advisers, and boards of directors on regulatory, compliance, and governance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related securities laws.
• Provide guidance on fund formation, structuring, and ongoing operations.
• You'll work closely with leaders in the registered funds space, build hands-on experience with complex matters, and gain exposure to clients at the center of the investment management industry-all while being part of a team that values collaboration and balance.

A premier law firm with a nationally recognized Investment Funds practice is seeking a Registered Funds Associate (1-5 years of experience) to join its Washington, DC office. This is an opportunity to practice at the very top of the market, advising some of the most sophisticated registered funds and investment managers in the country.

• Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
• 1-5 years of experience working with registered funds and/or investment advisers at a peer law firm or regulatory agency.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related securities laws.
• Admission to the DC Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
