An active TWIC card is required for this position, which is located at the Point Comfort, TX site.
The Rigger must possess knowledge of complex and heavy rigging, crane boom and cable changes, electrical safety, ladder and scaffold safety, lifting machinery, wire rope basics, fire prevention, sizing of chokers, load charts, cutting torches, and blueprint reading. Certification from a nationally recognized organization such as NCCER is highly recommended.
Physical demands include the ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lb regularly (up to 100 lb occasionally), climb ladders and scaffolds, and work on uneven or adverse weather conditions. Mental requirements include effective communication, reading and writing comprehension, basic math, decision‑making, and attention to detail.
