Responsible for monitoring DOT requirements and compliance
Coordinates deliveries with shipping department
Maintain a high level of accuracy, efficiency and safety while ensuring quality standards by way of in-process inspections
Coordinates and assigns workload(s) to individual warehouse associates and driver(s)
Responsible for shipping & receiving paperwork and computer processes
Communicates with management as well as suppliers, via email or phone conversations, in a clear and professional manner
Assist with performance appraisals and coaching
Helps monitors equipment maintenance, including vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is always current and equipment is in good working order

Assists with supervising all warehouse personnel and drivers
Helps monitor material flow through warehouse, including receiving, shipping and storage, assuring accuracy and efficiency at all points

Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
At least 1 year prior experience in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment preferred

Effective communication skills both written and verbal
3 to 5 years of experience with the commercial door and hardware industry, required
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to read, write, and speak Basic English in order to communicate effectively with suppliers
Ability to work independently, efficiently and meet deadlines
