The Community Maintenance Associate role ensures that the physical aspects of a property are well‑maintained, with a focus on grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal, while also supporting the service team. This position plays a critical part in preserving a clean and safe environment for residents and guests.
Key duties include daily inspections to remove litter, debris, and pet waste; clearing trash from vacant units and maintaining storage areas; handling minor service requests and assisting with apartment turn‑over processes; changing locks and verifying pool gate safety; distributing resident notices; reporting hazards; delivering courteous customer service; and adhering to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.
Incumbents must hold a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property and be capable of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 pounds unaided (or 50 pounds with assistance). The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and to be on call as needed, as well as the ability to perform duties in all weather conditions.
The hourly wage ranges from $14.00 to $18.00, with additional compensation possible through quarterly or annual bonus programs depending on position type.
