Project Accountant

Overview

Manage construction project accounting, billing, invoicing, and financial reporting.

Tasks

-Create monthly Lump Sum, T&M and GMP owner billings utilizing AIA documents, including all required backup based on owner contract, posting billings timely and accurately. -Review owner contracts for required billing, lien waiver and other accounting related responsibilities. -Final review and approval of all assigned project related supplier & subcontractor invoices utilizing hh2 Document Flow to ensure costs are posted timely & accurately. -Set up new jobs & prime contracts in CMIC. -Approval of weekly check runs to ensure all suppliers and subcontractors are paid within terms. -Reconcile all job billings monthly. -Assist vendors and subcontractors when inquiring on invoice/payment status. -Monitor accounts receivable status and assist with collection if necessary. -Print job reports for projects managers as necessary -Assist Project Managers with other job cost related tasks. -Prepare, collect, and monitor all appropriate lien waivers necessary for release of payments.

What You Bring

-CMIC experience preferred. -Procore & HH2 experience a plus. -Full-cycle AP and AR experience, a plus. -2+ years of construction accounting experience is required. -Familiarity with pay applications is required.
