The Project Manager will oversee existing client relationships and projects, while also networking, marketing, cross‑selling services, assisting with recruitment, and mentoring junior staff, offering significant growth potential in a rapidly expanding company.
- Manage environmental due diligence and Investigation & Remediation projects, including NYS Spills, NYS Brownfield, and E‑designation sites.
- Develop work plans and proposals, overseeing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Provide oversight, direction, and mentorship to environmental staff while supporting recruiting efforts.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Define and track project milestones and quarterly business objectives.
- Lead planning, implementation, and completion of diverse environmental projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of specialists, engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
- Collect, analyze, and report environmental data, communicating progress and recommendations.
- Ensure accurate project documentation and compliance with record‑keeping requirements.
- Maintain a 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Apply superior collaborative problem‑solving with stakeholders and teammates.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in environmental science, geology, civil engineering, or a related field (MS preferred), possess 5–10 years of environmental consulting experience, and have a 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and solve problems collaboratively. Technical expertise in NYC E‑designations, the Voluntary Cleanup Program, the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program, and Superfund sites is required, with a preference for Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer licensure.
- Hold a BS in environmental science, geology, civil engineering, or related field (MS preferred).
- Possess 5–10 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exhibit strong teamwork, motivation, and ability to inspire others.
- Possess technical expertise in NYC E‑designations, VCP, NYS BCP, and Superfund (CERCLA) programs.
- Experience supervising staff members.
- Preferred: New York State Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $115,000, adjusted for experience, education, and location.
