Senior Stakeholder Manager

Description

This position provides leadership in stakeholder‑management services across commissions, ensuring effective implementation and guiding team performance within the assigned hub. The role is open to Saudi nationals only.

Candidates will support specialist functions, create and apply stakeholder‑management approaches, and manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and the project team. They will also partner with clients, advise on communications standards, facilitate reporting and governance meetings, develop strategies and KPIs, and ensure compliance with Mace controls, client requirements and relevant legislation.

The role includes supervising junior staff, fostering their professional growth, integrating the function with other disciplines, supporting resourcing and recruitment, and contributing to the net‑zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions during delivery.

• Support specialist functions within stakeholder‑management services on assigned commissions.
• Design and implement stakeholder‑management frameworks and strategies.
• Direct clients, consultants, contractors and project teams on stakeholder‑related matters.
• Partner with clients to manage expectations and build strong professional relationships.
• Advise the project team on communications standards, risk, issue and performance reporting.
• Facilitate periodic reporting, governance and performance meetings.
• Develop functional management plans, processes, tools and track KPI progress.
• Collaborate with the stakeholder‑communications director and project manager to identify actions, opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Ensure all activities comply with Mace control centre, client requirements and applicable regulations.
• Provide line‑management, mentorship and career development for junior staff.
• Support integration of the stakeholder‑management function with other project disciplines.
• Assist the hub director with resourcing and recruitment for the commission.
• Contribute to net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing associated emissions.

The role is part of a programme delivering major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is seeking high‑calibre, experienced professionals to lead teams through each phase of the programme.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or management, be Saudi nationals, and possess extensive experience overseeing stakeholder interactions on complex, high‑value projects, including communication planning, negotiation and risk management. Proficiency with relevant computer applications and strong meeting‑facilitation skills are required.

• Proven experience in stakeholder management on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of communication and negotiation principles and tools.
• Ability to develop and execute communication plans and assess stakeholder impact.
• Skilled in coaching, training, meeting facilitation, minute‑taking and follow‑up.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications.
