The role focuses on repairing and maintaining diesel-powered equipment while ensuring strict health-and-safety compliance and a clean, organised work environment to keep customer operations uninterrupted.

Service, maintain and repair diesel‑powered pumps, generators and related equipment in both depot and field locations.
Inspect and prepare equipment at the depot to confirm operational readiness before deployment.
Perform major overhauls and refurbishments on end‑of‑life units.
Diagnose faults and execute repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
Collaborate with the service team, hire controller and foreman to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to health‑and‑safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Maintain a clean, organised work environment and ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards.
Travel to customer sites and participate in an on‑call rotation.

Mechanical experience with plant equipment such as pumps, generators or diesel engines.
NVQ Level 3, M&E apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
Full UK driving licence.
