Electrical Construction Manager

Description

The Electric Division seeks an on‑site Construction Supervisor to lead industrial electrical projects in multiple states. The role oversees crews and subcontractors, manages field operations, and ensures projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards. The supervisor acts as the company’s representative for inspectors, landowners, and OSHA, while supporting documentation, change orders, and construction administration.

• Lead on‑site planning, material and equipment management, and enforce job site safety.
• Oversee daily progress, supervise field crews and subcontractors, and maintain schedule and budget.
• Interpret project drawings and installation standards to guide execution.
• Conduct tailgate safety meetings, ensure JHA completion, and document incidents.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to on‑site personnel.
• Build and update a three‑week look‑ahead schedule and manage timecards and job costs.
• Act as KE representative for inspectors, landowners, and OSHA visits.
• Support project benchmarking, stakeholder reviews, change orders, and construction administration.

Requirements

The position requires up to 100 % travel across regional states, often involving overnight stays, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Physical demands include standing, kneeling, lifting up to 80 lb, and working outdoors in varying conditions. Reasonable accommodations are provided for qualified individuals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Project/Construction Management or equivalent experience; required industrial electrical construction background.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, forecast scope, and travel up to 100 % with overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk for long periods and lift up to 80 lb; work outdoors in varying conditions.

Compensation ranges from $115 k to $150 k, with additional per‑diem, incentive opportunities, and weekly paid wages.
