As a Structural Engineer within the Steelwork Competence Team, you will ensure optimal steelwork solutions during both Sales and Execution phases of airport projects. You will collaborate with sales, engineering teams, other departments and external suppliers to develop technical and commercial proposals, and oversee the complete technical structural solution to meet customer requirements. Your focus will be on high‑level oversight, delegating detailed work to team members and suppliers, while continuously improving processes and technical standards.

Design or coordinate steel structures for airport projects
Recommend cost-effective steelwork solutions
Represent steelwork scope in multidisciplinary project environments
Coordinate steelwork designs with internal teams and external suppliers
Estimate steel tonnage and budget the steelwork scope
Perform sanity checks on critical steelwork components
Collect and summarize technical information such as legislation, standards, and codes
Prepare RFQ packages for suppliers and review quotes
Report project progress to leads
Verify construction quality meets requirements
Lead internal improvements to optimize steelwork processes and standards

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering and has entry‑level or some years of experience in structural engineering. Proficiency in drawing software (AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit) and structural analysis tools (SCIA, AxisVM, Robot, Cype) is required, along with willingness to travel on‑site up to 5% of the time. Strong analytical, cost‑aware, result‑driven, and organizational skills, plus fluency in English, are essential.
