In conjunction with the EHS Manager, recommends, organizes and prepares materials and conducts ongoing safety, health and DOT education. This includes weekly Tool Box talks, annual safety training, first aid training, Field Audit training, etc as needed
Safety and Health policy monitoring, education, communication and PPE supply acquisition
Assists with investigating and administering property and utility damage claims in a timely and professional manner
Frequently stand and sit
In conjunction with Management and the Human Resources Department, prepares and executes employee-related documentation as needed
Conducts, supports and documents accident investigations
Conducts weekly Safety and DOT new employee orientation (includes topics such as enclosed space, OSHA-10, competent person, DOT road tests, etc.)
Conducts near-miss investigations and makes recommendations based on findings
Assists the EHS Manager when needed with audits initiated by regulatory entities
