We are currently recruiting a Powerline Worker for the Operations, People and Safety team based in Ballina. In this role you will be responsible for the construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of high‑voltage and low‑voltage distribution network assets and equipment. You will work within a supportive team across Essential Energy’s corporate and network business.
- Construct, install, connect, maintain and repair high‑voltage and low‑voltage distribution network assets.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers and community stakeholders while prioritising safety.
- Maintain all required regulatory licences, authorisations and certifications for the role.

- Hold a Certificate III in ESI Power Systems – Distribution Overhead.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence and WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills appropriate to the position.
- Be available for out‑of‑hours on‑call roster within the assigned area.
