The Technical Executive role sits in Engineering & Technical Services / Facilities Management, reporting to the Technical Services Manager or Chief Engineer. The position oversees building systems operations, maintenance programs, and technical infrastructure across assigned properties, ensuring optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while maintaining safety and energy efficiency.

Key duties include managing building automation and energy platforms, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising technical staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, driving energy‑efficiency and sustainability initiatives, and leading technical projects from planning through execution.

Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems.
Monitor building automation and energy management platforms for optimal performance.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and emergency response procedures.
Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs and supervise technical staff and contractors.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards; manage inspections and certifications.
Conduct risk assessments, incident reporting, and enforce contractor safety protocols.
Analyze energy consumption, identify efficiency improvements, and implement sustainability initiatives.
Plan and execute technical projects, including installations, renovations, and upgrades, managing budgets and timelines.
Prepare project specifications, coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors, and oversee procurement.
Assist in annual technical services budgeting, monitor costs, review invoices, and manage purchase orders.
Maintain equipment databases, track lifecycle, and plan replacements.
