In this role you will configure substation models on Hitachi’s digital platform, develop reliability‑based maintenance plans, and act as the liaison between clients and R&D teams on delivery projects and product releases. You will also troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root‑cause analyses, and propose mitigation measures while integrating OT systems with IT platforms using protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus and Ethernet/IP. Collaboration with IT/IoT teams to create unified data pipelines and scalable edge‑to‑cloud architectures is a key part of the job.
The ideal candidate holds a B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and has at least five years of experience in operation and maintenance of 33 kV (or higher) substations and power plants. Required experience includes routine and preventive maintenance of AIS and GIS equipment, managing TBM, CBM and RCM programmes, and testing diverse primary equipment, together with full knowledge of OHSAS procedures. Strong communication skills in spoken and written English, a self‑starter attitude, and the ability to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations are also essential.
