The Warehouse Specialist oversees all material flow, including ordering, receiving, tracking, moving, and storing inventory. This role ensures accurate logging, proper placement, and timely delivery of supplies while following work orders and safety protocols. The specialist also inspects items for damage, maintains clean and organized warehouse spaces, and coaches fellow associates on operational and safety procedures.
- Receive incoming inventory, log items in the warehouse system, and stock them in proper locations.
- Read and interpret work orders, shipping orders, or verbal instructions to fulfill requests.
- Fill customer invoices accurately.
- Check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items.
- Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or damage and report issues.
- Notify the Warehouse Manager of any problems.
- Follow all safety and accident procedures, including DOT and OSHA standards.
- Track all inventory movements using the appropriate system.
- Organize and clean warehouse space and equipment as needed.
- Coach fellow associates on operational practices, equipment use, and safety.
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.
- Evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, and suggest cost‑saving ideas.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb. The role requires teamwork, problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to high‑quality work.
