Summarize and present cost engineering principles that reach appropriate conclusions and implement cost containment plans.
Reviews project work activities to ensure support of project milestones. Coordinates and establishes scoping requirements for the overall cost estimate by discipline or other specialty, and coordinates the timely, systematic, and complete acquisition of scope definition and related data.
Interfaces with designated contractor and customer management for specific cost presentations.

Experience on a large lump sum, EPC, projects in a Senior cost role. Rail works, large civil project experience a plus.
Experience in setting-up and management of Construction program cost through Unifier-Cost preferred
Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
Must be able to independently provide guidance, training and coaching to junior and mid-grade cost engineers with multiple backgrounds and experience.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
Knowledge of analysis of variance estimation and correlation, with an advanced understanding of how to apply real-world applications of statistical theory.
Experience and demonstrated skill in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office. Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria for Project Controls activities.
Must have excellent communications and presentation skills to combine sound analytical cost engineering principles with the ability to summarize, reach appropriate conclusions, and implement cost containment plans.
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Benefits
San Francisco, CA Positions: A 10% salary uplift is provided on top of base salary for positions that are worked in San Jose, CA, and San Francisco, CA, which is subject to change depending on market conditions.
Salary Range: $76,685 - $116,945 annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)
