While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
Perform safety walk around inspection before shift
Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
Move hand and foot controls to move truck forward or back to loosen and dump material adhering to body of the truck
Prepare operational check list and reports malfunctions requiring repair
Operate other mechanical equipment to load truck
Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed
Pull lever or turn cranks to tilt body and dump contents
Maintain and check equipment-mechanic and hydraulic systems
Drive and operate truck to transport and dump
Fuel and clean the truck cab

Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
High level of attentiveness and physical coordination to operate truck safely in heavy traffic areas
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Ability to operate equipment in reverse using mirrors
Be able to read, write, and speak English

Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctioning and respond accordingly
