Tasks

-Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals. -Provide technical support during installation and commissioning of cathodic protection systems. -Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical reports. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards. -Conduct field surveys and assessments to determine the condition of existing cathodic protection systems. -Design and develop cathodic protection systems for pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure. -This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

What You Bring

-Certification from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) as a Cathodic Protection Technician or Specialist. -Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NACE, ASTM). -Excellent communication and teamwork skills. -Ability to sit/ stand for up to 8 hours per day. -Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD and CP design tools. -Experience with cathodic protection systems for natural gas utilities. -Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Corrosion Science, or a related field. -4-10 years of experience in cathodic protection design. -Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Strong understanding of corrosion principles and protection methods.
