The role involves configuring budget systems and applying established cost or work‑breakdown structures to allocate and control project expenses. The analyst will also handle the creation of purchase orders, settle invoices, record shared cost contributions, and perform ledger reconciliations.
Regular communication with both internal and external partners ensures that senior project leaders receive consistent and accurate cost data. The position supports ongoing improvement initiatives that enhance the organization’s data‑centric processes.
Key responsibilities include monitoring workforce allocation records and adjusting payroll overrides within the client‑specified TRACK system. Coordination with workforce teams guarantees that allocation data and overrides are correctly applied.
The analyst will carry out ad‑hoc workforce audits to confirm that billed hours align with contractual terms and gate‑log entries. Collaboration with payroll staff and cost engineers is required to troubleshoot and resolve stuck or unapproved time entries, as well as to assist clients with time‑approval challenges.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline and at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Apps and Power BI, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, is essential. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills are also required.
