- Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of the design work
- Monitor your teams project progress to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects

- Develop technical approach, task and deliverable build up with associated hours estimate and schedule to support business development activities
- Supervise, mentor and lead a team of engineers through their individual and team technical development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction
- Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
- Perform engineering calculations to support and direct construction deliverables (specifications, reports, drawings)
- Generate construction and equipment specifications
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
- Direct multi-discipline technical teams across the full spectrum of projects and client solutions

- Demonstrated experience in participating complex, multi-discipline programs/projects and teams
- A minimum of two years of leadership experience
- Expert familiarity with industry codes and standards

- Experience workshare with high value engineering centers
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Engineering design experience within thermal or fossil power generation facilities
- BS/BA in Engineering from ABET accredited college or university + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience/education

- Leader in one or more areas of technology.
- Power generation systems modeling experience
- 5+ years experience in team supervision
- Successful experience working in remote and multi-discipline teams
- Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish.
- Field construction and commissioning experience
- Physical design experience of power generation facilities
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering design experience within power generation facilities
- 7+ years as discipline technical lead on power generation engineering design projects
- Physical design experience for industrial facilities
- PE License
- Experience working in collaborative 3D model environments (e.g. Navisworks) and laser scan data
