- Research and interpret environmental regulations and policies to support permitting and compliance strategies.
- Collaborate with a team of regulatory specialists, scientists, and engineers on environmental permitting and compliance projects.
- Assist in business development efforts, including proposal writing and client coordination, as requested.
- Travel periodically to project sites and stakeholder meetings throughout the region.
- Contribute to quality assurance, document control, and workflow management for complex regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate and facilitate agency consultations and stakeholder meetings, documenting discussions and ensuring follow-up on commitments.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Prepare and manage regulatory and environmental documentation, including permit applications, compliance reports, and technical memoranda.
- Support project management activities, including scope development, schedule tracking, and deliverable coordination.

- Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (e.g., NEPA, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and state-level equivalents).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- 5–10 years of experience in environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, or natural resource management (consulting experience preferred).
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Hydrology, Environmental Policy, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong technical writing and documentation management skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving project challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with GIS software is a plus.
