Business Intelligence Developer

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects
• Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure and existing applications, ensuring performance and reliability
• Design, build, and maintain curated data sets and reusable data products that incorporate business logic and support enterprise-wide analytics
• Develop and deploy analytics solutions using enterprise BI platforms (Qlik, Power BI, Salesforce CRM Analytics)
• Enabling enterprise-wide analytics through scalable, logic-rich data products
• Partnering directly with business stakeholders to understand and meet analytical needs
• Support the implementation and adoption of data tools and applications across the organization
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders
• Supporting strategic initiatives with actionable insights and performance metrics
• Create clear technical documentation and provide user support to Altec associates
• Collaborate with business teams to identify information needs, define KPIs, and deliver data-driven solutions to address critical business challenges
• Delivering curated data assets that serve as trusted sources for decision-making

Altec is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Business Intelligence Developer to partner with business teams across the enterprise. This role blends technical expertise with strong communication skills to deliver data products and analytics solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate will help evolve our BI capabilities beyond visualizations by embedding business logic into curated data sets that power insights at scale.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred but consideration may be given to exceptional candidates with 6+ years relevant work experience will be considered
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong proficiency in BI platforms (Qlik preferred; Power BI or Salesforce CRM Analytics experience valuable)
• At least four years of relevant experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL or equivalent query languages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record of working independently and as part of a team
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and data infrastructure
