Chief Operating Officer

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of commercial roofing leadership experience and be responsible for overseeing company-wide operations, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and long-term growth. This executive will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to set strategy, drive performance, and elevate operational excellence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability across departments
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, guiding the company’s culture and growth trajectory
• Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and service teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction
• Oversee day-to-day operations of all divisions, including production, service, estimating, and project management
• Oversee operational systems, workflows, and reporting to maximize performance and scalability
• Monitor project performance and resolve escalated issues related to scheduling, manpower, and client relations
• Drive recruitment, training, and retention of top talent within the organization
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and company policies
• Collaborate with ownership on financial planning, budgeting, and long-term business strategy

• Ability to travel regionally as needed
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar roofing projects and operations
• Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L oversight and business planning
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• OSHA certifications and relevant manufacturer certifications preferred
• 10+ years of experience in commercial roofing with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director, VP, COO, or equivalent)

$150,000 – $200,000+ (based on experience) + Performance Bonuses
