A global engineering & nuclear services firm delivering end‑to‑end infrastructure and energy solutions.
Apprentices will be integrated into the ENV team and contribute to a broad range of sectors. They will support projects covering sustainability certification, carbon accounting, life‑cycle assessment, green‑energy solutions, building physics, climate resilience, micro‑climate and air‑quality studies, as well as environmental consenting and heritage assessments.
AtkinsRéalis is seeking bright minds to join its Environment (ENV) team as Apprentices. The role offers the opportunity to move beyond textbooks and work on real‑world projects involving carbon assessment, ESG, renewable energy, and environmental impact assessments.
The position requires strong analytical and modelling skills, including data analysis, characterisation, groundwater and hydrogeology modelling, and data visualisation. Deliverables must meet high‑quality standards and be delivered correctly the first time, while apprentices take ownership of their work and actively share knowledge in technical meetings.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or a Master’s in Water Resources, Environmental or Earth Sciences, completed in 2023‑2025. They must demonstrate solid report‑writing abilities, fluency in English, and practical experience with characterisation, plotting and modelling tools, with a willingness to learn platforms such as OneClickLCA, EnergyPlus or Power BI.
Additional desirable skills include familiarity with BIM and design software (Revit, Navisworks), interest in green‑rating systems like LEED or BREEAM, and knowledge of environmental or hydrogeological modelling software (FEFLOW, MODFLOW, LEAPFROG) and GIS tools. Innovation and automation in project delivery are valued.
AtkinsRéalis offers self‑medical insurance, a generous annual leave allowance and continuous opportunities for professional growth, skill sharpening and recognition. The company is a global engineering and nuclear services leader committed to sustainable solutions, diversity and inclusive hiring.
