The mechanic will inspect, maintain, and repair trucks and heavy equipment, including engine repairs, transmission systems, hydraulic and air brakes, and electrical components. Additional duties include welding, performing oil changes, keeping the work area and tools clean, and completing routine maintenance.
The company is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for an immediate hire, based in Vancouver, WA, with flexibility to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest and West Coast as contracts require. While local assignments are prioritized to allow returning home each night, the role may involve travel to other western states.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience, a Diesel Mechanic certification, and preferably a CDL. Required skills include hydraulic and electrical repair proficiency, high attention to detail, strong tool use, interpersonal communication, and the ability to work independently and analytically while being willing to travel.
