  • Identify and escalate field issues, changes, or conflicts, facilitating timely resolution to minimize impacts.
  • Monitor and enforce site safety compliance, working closely with EHS teams to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Work closely with the Onsite Construction Manager to implement construction execution plans, coordinate subcontractors, and manage field logistics.
  • Assist the Project Manager in defining work scopes for subcontractors, ensuring clear alignment with project objectives and requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews to provide constructability feedback, identify potential challenges, and drive value-engineered solutions.
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to align construction execution with project objectives.
  • Coordinate with trade partners, vendors and stakeholders
  • Support project scheduling efforts, providing field-based insights on sequencing, resource allocation, and potential risks.
  • Oversee inspections and testing on projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation of construction progress, daily reports, and field observations.

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP facility construction, process systems, and utilities.
  • Familiarity with design reviews, constructability assessments, and subcontractor management.
  • Experience working within EPCM project delivery models preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with project managers, engineers, and tradespeople.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, scheduling tools (Primavera P6, Touchplan), Pull Planning methodology and construction management software (Procore).
  • 7+ years of experience in construction supervision. Preferred experience is within biopharma, life sciences, or other regulated industrial environments or equivalent.
  • Profound decision-making and problem-solving skills to address any issues that might arise during a construction project.
  • Be punctual and accountable. Typical work hours are 0600-1430, however these may adjust based on workload & project requirements. Work hours shall be coordinated and communicated by the Construction Manager to support successful project delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead field teams, manage multiple contractors, and coordinate cross-functional project efforts.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
