The Maintenance Assistant is an entry‑level position that supports the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. Working under supervision, the role emphasizes safety and offers pathways for growth within the engineering field. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Assist the engineering team with maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment.
Perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
Complete work orders in the CMMS and maintain accurate service documentation.
Keep tools, parts, equipment, and supplies clean and stored safely.
Work under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers, and other senior staff.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.
Support on‑call or emergency response situations when required.
Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Provide strong customer service in interactions with building occupants.
