Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Description

• Evaluate construction cost budgets.
• A technical leadership role where you can mentor and develop emerging talent.
• Provide technical supervision, coordination, verification, and design for various fire protection projects.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments of existing installations.
• Lead teams of technicians and engineers, and coordinate efforts among various internal and external stakeholders to deliver fire protection projects across multiple sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential).
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout project delivery.
• Analyze, design, and adapt building-related systems.
• Develop new systems and improve existing ones.

Requirements

• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
• Ability to mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians.
• Collaborative mindset and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relationships.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in fire protection systems.
• Cutting-edge technology, including BIM and modern collaborative tools.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Engineering.
• Strong ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Versatility, autonomy, and excellent communication skills.
• Significant autonomy and influence in technical decisions and client relationships.
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
