  • Conduct or assist with on-site condition surveys.
  • Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design-bid-build, design-assist, and design-build.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain client relationships while building new business opportunities.
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects effectively across multiple delivery models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel) and strong general computer literacy.
  • This job requires local travel to job sites. This is an on-site position located in NYC.
  • Proficiency with design and modeling software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate innovative technologies and approaches.
  • Work is performed in both an office and a field setting. The employee will be required to perform various physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. The position requires the ability to speak and communicate clearly. Employees may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Clear vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are also necessary.
  • Proficiency in developing conceptual, schematic, and construction-level documents with precision and accuracy.
  • Deep technical expertise in mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, and control systems.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, self-starting work ethic to sustain an effective and efficient work environment.
  • Leadership capabilities, including mentoring and supporting the development of junior staff.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Dedication to continuous learning, with an emphasis on emerging technologies, sustainability, and evolving codes/standards.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork and integrated design delivery.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the design, assessment, and/or construction of the built environment, including preparation of construction documents and administration.
