Bachelor’s Degree required in communications, journalism or related field, or comparable experience preferred
Experience in engaging with external organizations including state/local agencies, local media, and other content providers.
Ability to edit and operate on all Adobe platforms including Creative Cloud, Premiere, and Photoshop
Excellent Project Management, verbal and written communication skills.
Regular travel required, primarily to other upstate and downstate New York company locations
Knowledge of New York news media and government required.
Excellent track record of delivery and performance – a self-starter. Confident, independent individual with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital media production with direct experience in communications, public relations/public affairs outreach, video production, writing, journalism and/or editing
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely for both internal and external audiences, including (but not limited to) social media, scripts, blog posts, website articles, etc. Writing samples must be provided.
