The Senior Accountant – Revenue Focus will join the finance team to ensure accurate, GAAP‑compliant revenue recording. Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, the incumbent will handle journal entries, reconciliations, SEC reporting support, and audit documentation while partnering with cross‑functional teams such as Sales Ops, Legal, FP&A, and Customer Success.
- Prepare journal entries for deferred revenue, accounts receivable adjustments, and contractual incentives.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations and flux analysis for revenue‑related accounts.
- Assist with SEC reporting schedules and revenue disclosures for quarterly and annual filings.
- Support quarterly and annual audits by providing relevant documentation and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and SOX control requirements.
- Partner with Finance Systems to enhance ERP and revenue automation tools.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency in the order‑to‑cash cycle.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects to streamline revenue recognition, billing, and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops, Legal, FP&A, and Customer Success to resolve revenue issues and align contract terms with accounting standards.
- Provide deal‑structure guidance to optimize compliance and business outcomes.
- Lead or contribute to ad‑hoc projects and support General Ledger functions such as fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Possess 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in revenue accounting or public accounting for technology clients.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Show advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling.
- Exhibit detail‑oriented, organized work style with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Preferred: active CPA license and experience in a SOX‑compliant, publicly traded company.
- Preferred: familiarity with ERP and revenue automation tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Workday.
- Preferred: experience with SEC reporting and revenue note preparation.
- Core competencies: analytical thinking, attention to detail, business acumen, collaboration, adaptability, and ownership mentality.
